Director and Founder of Darkwater Design I’ve spent over 20 years working within the design, advertising, branding, web and digital media industry and forging successful working relationships with our varied client list is second nature. As a professional photographer of food, people and built environments taking a moment in time captive is something I do day to day and I steal them with pleasure. Food, interiors and people are my passion and much of my work is based around natural, of the moment, working shots. We’ve always said at Darkwater that creativity should be enjoyed and spending my time doing what I love behind my camera also has a positive influence on the final result.

Staying in good shape, for me, is an absolute must and comes in handy when throwing myself around with my camera. There is no compromise in obtaining the perfect shot and I have been known to spend time laying on the ground, come rain or shine, in my pursuit of perfection once having nearly been evicted from my chosen spot at a crucial moment during a shoot, mistaken for a vagrant. But that’s the job! I’ve been lucky enough to travel the world from an early age and love to fill my passport whenever I get the chance. Currently based in Portishead, Bristol the world to me now is one big playground. With commissions coming from the UK and overseas I’m ready to be deployed anywhere in the world.
